Absences for Supervision of Co-Curriculars

Starting Monday, November 3, Teaching staff who are planning to be off-site to supervise co-curriculars should submit the dates they are scheduled to be away on ADP, using a new time off policy is titled  "Supervision of Co-Curriculars".

This new policy can be found on the drop down My Time Off menu. If you are unable to find the Supervision of Co-Curriculars policy on your ADP account, please contact HR.

Roborium Processes

For students with ESPs who are using extra time accommodations,  at times they will miss some of a class period to complete tests/assessments.

We ask that students immediately return to class following the completion of the assessment. Their presence in Student Services is documented by the Student Success team and shared with the Main Office, which is why students do not require late slips prior to returning to class.

We endeavour to email teachers notifying them of their absence from class and their departure from the Roborium. Teachers may also email student.success@utschools.ca, if they would like to confirm a student’s presence in the Roborium.

If you have any questions about these processes, please connect with Julie, Kelly or Jenny P-L.

Thanks!

Weekly Wellness Tip 04

Welcome to your fourth weekly wellness tip! Stay tuned for a different tip each week! (Brought to you by your self-appointed, staff-member powered wellness committee.)

Boundaries Matter Teaching is a job that can easily spill into evenings. Protect your downtime by choosing a “hard stop” time at least a few days a week. Give yourself permission to leave work at work… it’s not selfish, it’s sustainable.
