Pink Day 2026: Foundation Breakout Sessions
Pink Day is just over a month away, and the committee has built an excellent lineup of breakout sessions.
We would love to add one or two sessions intentionally designed for our Foundation students. F1 and F2 learners are at a distinct developmental stage, and purpose-built sessions can help ensure the learning is meaningful and age-appropriate.
Even one or two additional volunteers would make a real difference.
If you are interested in leading a Foundation-focused breakout, please connect with Royan, Chris, or Iorek.

March Break Well-Being
During school break, experiences of stress and pressure can ride alongside moments of joy and relaxation. Students received this resource page highlighting activities offered in the community over March Break, as well as tips / strategies to balance time away from school, maintain routines, and care for themselves. Staff may like to take a look at this SMHO resource for the care and keeping of our own well-being.
Here are a wide range of community resources if support is helpful or needed over the holidays.
The UTS social work department looks forward to welcoming back Marleen Constantin from maternity leave - Marleen will be returning in room 340. If you have any questions, please reach out to social.work.staff@utschools.ca.
Wishing you moments of connection over the break.
Warmly,
Steph, Joelle and Marleen

Do You Have Amazing Volunteers?
We want to be able to honour and thank our amazing volunteers. Does an alum coach for you? Has a parent come to speak to your class? If it’s non-paid, let the Office of Advancement know by emailing rebecca.harrison@utschools.ca!
